Join solarpunk dc at Community Forklift's First Friday: Salvage & Cycle for a hands-on zine workshop. We'll be using collage, drawing, and writing to explore what sustainable mobility actually looks like when it's built for people, not just commuters.
No art experience needed. Just bring your ideas and your curiosity.
This is a drop-in workshop happening inside the event. Feel free to come and go as you explore the rest of First Friday. There'll also be live music, food trucks, discounts on salvaged materials, and a whole lot of good energy.
What's First Friday? Community Forklift's monthly party in their nonprofit reuse warehouse in Edmonston, MD. Think: local vendors, food and drinks, music, and a community that genuinely loves creative reuse.
Free and open to all. Food and drinks available for purchase (21+ for alcohol).
