About Event

Curious about what it really takes to build a career that helps clean up fashion? Join Women for Women's Wear for a lively conversation about career choices in sustainable fashion — one of the industry’s most complicated and fast-changing spaces. Feel free to bring your own lunch. Refreshments will be served.

Why attend? Not sure how to pursue a career that integrates sustainability and fashion? Or how to make a difference if sustainable fashion is not in your exact job description? What are the options for new jobs or a career pivot, or outside your job? Expect practical insight, fresh perspective, and inspiration.

What's happening? A Roundtable and networking where professionals from sectors such as apparel and footwear, government, technology, and finance share insights into their careers. We will dig into the sometimes winding paths people take, the tradeoffs they face, and where meaningful work is happening.

Who should join? If you seek ideas on how to address fashion's contribution to sustainability in your current job, to change jobs or start new careers, or to make a difference in your daily life, join us!

Come ready to think big, ask questions, and leave with a clearer sense of where you might fit into the future of sustainable fashion!
