What To Bring
A Game Engine
Please have your game engine installed and a new project created prior to the workshop starting! While the workshop will be focused on using Unreal Engine, the workshop can be completed in any game engine.
A Webcam
You don’t need to show your face on camera if you don’t want to, but please show your paper! If possible, use a webcam that is not a built-in laptop camera so that you can move it to face what you are drawing more easily.
Something to Draw/Paint With IRL
For the exercises, you need to be able to draw with a full range of colors where you do not have to wait for it to dry to add more colors. Below are a few options
Pick One - Soft pastels, acrylic paint, oil pastels, chalk pastels, gouache, pan pastels, oil sticks, wax pastels
Anything that requires significant drying time, takes a long time to apply, or cannot be blended easily is not recommended.
Who Is it For?
All levels of artists are welcome, including complete beginners! You should however, have used Unreal or a game engine before for this workshop. If you’re brand new, complete Your First Hour in Unreal Engine first.
