A monthly coffee meet-up for designers, researchers and developers.
No agenda. No design patterns. No sense-making. Just caffeine (or decaf).
Working in design or research can be a bit of a whirlwind. Whether you are currently deep in the Figma files, wrangling sticky notes that have lost their stick, or navigating the equally chaotic world of the job hunt, sometimes you just need to step away from the screen.
The Design Brewers is a casual, monthly meet-up for anyone working in/with design. Each month, we pick a local coffee shop to explore the best brews while we chat, vent, or network (only if you fancy it).
The "Agenda"
Show up whenever: We’ll be there for a couple of hours, so drop in when you can. No pressure to be there for the "start" or stay until the "end".
Talk about anything: Whether you want to moan about a tricky user flow, share a portfolio win, or just debate the best oat milk in town, the floor is yours.
All brews welcome: Coffee, tea, decaf, or just a pastry. We pick shops that provide it all, so you actually have a choice (very human-centric, innit?).
Who is it for?
If your job involves solving problems for people, whether you’re a UX Designer, Product Designer, Service Designer, Researcher, Developer or anything in between, you’re a Design Brewer.
If you are looking for your next role or pivoting careers into design, come and grab a seat. It’s a great place to hear what others are working on in a low-stakes environment.
