About our speakers
Nigel Toon is the founder of Graphcore, a leading AI chip pioneer that was recently sold to Softbank, and a leading AI entrepreneur. He sits as a Non-Executive Director on the board of UK Research and Innovation council and has sat on the UK Prime Minister's Business Council. He has been recognized with numerous industry awards, being ranked #1 on Business Insider's UK Tech 100 and named as one of the 'Top 100 entrepreneurs in the UK' by the Financial Times. How AI Thinks is his first book.
Tom Hulme is Managing Partner of GV (Google Ventures), based in the London office. Previously, Tom led IDEO's startup efforts globally, incubating Omada Health (NASDAQ) and multiple other startups.Tom's TED talk on design has been viewed over 1.7 million times, he has been recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum and he received an MBE in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours for his military service.
Azeem Azhar, Founder Exponential View, one of the world’s most influential platforms for understanding the impact of technology on business and society. He is regarded as a global thought leader and voice on AI, energy and other emerging technologies. Azeem’s work has been featured in the New York Times and The Financial Times, and he regularly appears on international broadcast media. In 2022, he published his debut book Exponential: Order and Chaos in an Age of Accelerating Technology to critical acclaim. Azeem is a fellow at Stanford University, and Harvard Business School.
Alexandra Mousavizadeh is a Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Evident Insights, an intelligence platform tracking AI adoption in financial services, helping leaders make informed AI-related investments and strategic choices. A former economist for Moody’s and Morgan Stanley, Alexandra was the architect of the groundbreaking Global AI Index, benchmarking the strength of national AI ecosystems.
The panel is moderated by Simon Greenman, Partner at Best Practice AI, an AI management consultancy. He has over 25 years of experience leading digital transformations, including co-founding MapQuest, one of the internet’s first global brands and AI users, and serving as Chief Digital Officer for private equity-backed media firms involved in large-scale M&A. Simon chairs the Global Expert Group in AI for the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels and holds a BA (Hons) in Computing & Artificial Intelligence.
