Capital & Connect: Breakthrough Climate Innovations @ New York Climate Week

Where breakthrough climate founders meet the capital ready to back them. A VC panel followed by the founder-funder mixer

Climate Week brings the world's climate community to New York. This room is where the South Asia corridor gathers.

We open with investors actively deploying into the region: candid, specific, and grounded in what they are funding right now.

Then the floor opens. Everyone here is already working the same geography, so the conversation starts further along: not why South Asia matters, but what it takes to build and back the next generation of companies solving for it.

Come find the people already invested in the same part of the world as you.

RSVP and follow this page. Panelists will be announced here shortly.

Supported by Without®: a new-age material science enterprise reimagining waste, poverty, and business itself.

This session is part of All Hands on Deck: Co-Designing Climate Resilience 🌏

A day-long convening hosted by BASACA (Bay Area South Asian Climate Association) and Goonj during Climate Week NYC 2026, bringing together 100 selected global funders, venture capitalists, founders, philanthropists and adaptation leaders. Join us as we explore how community-led emergency response and local adaptation models can define, direct and scale market-driven products and institutional funding pipelines globally.

The most effective adaptation solutions are being designed on the frontlines, by communities who know the risk intimately. The most investable ones are coming out of founders across the US–South Asia corridor. And the capital that could connect the two sits in a third room entirely. Everyone is working the same problem from a different end, and almost never at the same table. That gap is the opportunity. Hundred people, one room, one day: to use community-led design can shape South Asia’s climate resilience solutions.

Whether you are a founder, investor, researcher, non-profit or policymaker and working on climate resilience, this is the room you need to be in for NY Climate Week.
