Introduction to Monoids
Monoids are the essence of data accumulation. In this introductory level talk, we will look at basic Haskell syntax and then introduce the Monoid type class along with some examples. Monoids turn up everywhere and are surprisingly useful. We will pay close attention to the monoid laws and how they help us write and reason about programs.
