Eco Doc Screening Series

​The Sustainability Committee is launching a bimonthly environmental documentary screening series for Local 44 and green committee members across Hollywood locals and guilds. Our goal is to use film as an educational tool to spark real conversation about sustainability and our industry’s impact. These powerful documentaries will serve as tools to educate our members on the importance of caring for our planet, inspiring action through shared stories of resilience and innovation. The series showcases educational and hopeful films exploring different themes, things like regenerative agriculture, waste and circularity, and climate justice, that show how nature, people, and systems coexist. We’ve chosen these films because we believe they’ll resonate with our members and spark some great post-screening discussion.

​Our first screening is Kiss the Ground, Saturday, August 22, from 3 to 6pm at the IA West office, followed by a Q&A. More details on future screenings to come. Park in the structure next to the building.

​Screening will be available online via Zoom as well.
