About Event

This hybrid, transnational event brings together young leaders from Kenya and the UK.

Over the past year, The Ubele Initiative has engaged with leaders in Kenya through the formation of the Nia Upeoni academy which introduces African and UK-based social economy leaders to creative tools for interrogating systems and community-led approaches to racial justice.

Join us for a cross-continental dialogue to explore social movements in Kenya, the Young Emerging Leaders Collective, and what the future could look like through the lens of a dedicated group of poets, scholars, social economy leaders, and activists.

Caribbean Food will follow for people joining in-person at the 198 Gallery, Brixton
