[13:00] Patent Mining with Lightbringer
Most companies have more patentable ideas than they think. The trick is knowing where to look.
This workshop walks you through a practical way to find the IP hiding inside your own development work. Instead of asking "what can we patent?", we start with a more useful question: what problems has your team already solved that others haven't? From there, we work through how to sort those solutions into the right categories, decide what's worth filing on, and figure out what's better kept as a trade secret.
You'll leave with a clear process your team can actually use, not just a theory about how IP works.
This session is a good fit if you're early in building an IP strategy, trying to be more systematic about what you file, or just trying to understand what you might already have.

1-1 Office Hours
after this session, the team will be running 1-1 office hours to talk through where you are with your IP strategy, whether that's identifying what's worth protecting, deciding between patents and trade secrets, or simply working out where to start.
[14:00] Pre-Seed Valuations 101: Max Bray from Kindred Capital to break down one of the biggest early-stage headaches: valuation. We’ll dig into how pre-seed valuations are really decided, the mistakes that can cost you dearly, and how to protect yourself while still getting the deal done.
[16:30] Content Roast: bring your pitch deck, hardware, product, demo, landing page, cold email, or whatever you're working on. We'll tear it down and build it back better.
