About Event

Come gather for a cozy, reflective conversation on what it means to feel more fully alive.

As part of my Masters research in the University of Pennsylvania’s Applied Positive Psychology program, I’ve been studying the concept of “aliveness” — what it means, how it is experienced, and what supports greater vitality in both personal and organizational life.

This inquiry emerged from my own questions around non-aliveness and led me into a deeper exploration. Through a literature review and interviews with nearly 30 individuals — including members of The Commons community, academics, Buddhist monastics, IFS therapists, coaches, and human-centric leaders — I’ve been synthesizing themes and developing a working research model of aliveness.

In this session, I’ll share some emerging insights and open up space for discussion and reflection. This is not a formal workshop, but an open dialogue where we can explore the topic together and exchange lived perspectives.

Your reflections and experiences are welcome and will help refine the ideas as I continue developing my final research paper.

Come with curiosity — and leave with a richer understanding of what aliveness might mean in your own life.
