About Idea Market
Idea Market is an opportunity to work on your start-up ideas, network with potential co-founders and practice your pitch to investors. We find that there are two types of founders:
Those who have a startup vision but lack the technical skills to execute,
Talented students who want to join a startup but don’t know what they want to work on.
Idea Market is where these two groups of founders meet. Whichever group you fall into, coming to Idea Market is the first step on your path to getting a spot at the Hatchery. Join us for an evening of networking, drinks, snacks and startup pitches, every other Thursday at the Hatchery offices on the University of Toronto Campus.
Sign-up Instructions
Sign up with your @utoronto.ca email. Attendance is limited to students of the University of Toronto. If you want to pitch your startup and you have presentation materials (slides, website), you must submit them through the link in the registration confirmation form before the event. You’ll be able to see the specific event location once your registration is approved.
