SheTO Seattle Event
We are hosting our first SheTO Seattle Hub event of the year!
Topic: Your Career in the Age of AI
Most of the career conversation around AI is aimed at individual contributors: will it take my job, should I learn to prompt, what skills do I invest in? That's not your question.
Your question is harder. When AI is changing what IC engineers do, what deep engineering work looks like, and how fast a small team can ship… what does that mean for the people leading those teams? What does the role of an engineering director or VP look like when the calculus underneath you is shifting? Where does your judgment, your experience, your hard-won pattern recognition actually fit in this new picture? How technical (or not) should you be today compared to the expectations of yesterday?
This SheTO panel brings together experienced senior engineering leaders from across Seattle who've been sitting with exactly these questions for the past year or more - not hypothetically, but in real orgs, making real calls. We'll get into how they're thinking about their own roles, their own growth, and what it means to lead well in this moment for yourself, for your teams, and for your companies.
Where: 255 King Street, Seattle - Location details will be shared with approved attendees post-registration.
When: April 2nd, 6:00 - 8:00 PM PT
Who should attend: This event is open to all female-identifying and nonbinary engineering leaders. Attendance is by approval only.
This event includes a panel discussion with plenty of time for Q&A and networking so that everyone can mingle, participate, and learn from each other.
Food and beverages will also be provided.
