Black Futures
βBlack Futures: Founders, Funders & Allies in Tech
βπ Sausalito
π Black History Month
βIn honor of Black History Month, weβre gathering to celebrate the Black founders and funders driving innovation in tech, and the allies who support and invest in this future.
βJoin us for an evening bringing together Black founders, funders, operators, and allies shaping the future of technology.
βThis gathering is designed to spark meaningful conversations around alternative funding pathways, the ecosystems and resources founders are leveraging, and the networks opening doors for underrepresented builders in tech. Weβll explore how founders are navigating capital beyond traditional routes and how community plays a critical role in long-term success.
βSpeakers include:
Brendah Njiru, Founder & CEO of HOMY Robotics, a humanoid robotics startup building emotionally intelligent robots for senior care. Brendah previously co-founded WEHEAD Robotics and attended Cornell University, where she conducted neuroscience research with publications in leading scientific journals, including Nature and Brain.
βMore speakers to be announced.
βWhether youβre a founder, investor, operator, or ally, this event is a space to connect, learn, and collectively invest in Black futures.
βCome for the conversation.
Stay for the community.
Build the future together. π
