How can Futures fuse with innovation to guide societies through transformational shifts?
Let’s face it: Foresight wasn’t conceived for entrepreneurship – but to suit the needs of corporations. Still today, foresight is tailored with large organisations in mind. Disillusioned, and called to deliver societal impact, entrepreneurial innovation is in dire need for native futures methodologies that serve societies in facing systemic challenges and also effectuate the opportunities inherent in change.
‘Doing Futures’ is the long-needed evolution of futures thinking into entrepreneurial application. It not only critically examines the economy of innovation – but also unearths new entrepreneurial systems for materialising alternative imaginaries the emerging lifeworlds.
