​For years my work sat in corporate innovation. Lately, that world has narrowed, increasingly dominated by AI, tech platforms and financial optimisation.

​Challenger Cities starts from a different hunch in the next frontier of innovation won't be more screens, or agentic AI, but place. Streets, stations, offices, neighbourhoods and public life. As businesses and societies retreat from the physical world, the consequences are becoming harder to ignore.

​These meetups blend Challenger Cities and the Innovators Social Club. The aim is to put people in the same room who wouldn’t normally meet ... corporate leaders and city-makers, designers and operators, founders and public-sector misfits.

​We're not into performative networking, but actually sharp conversation, shared curiosities and the chance for ideas to turn into momentum.
