Meridian Table is a recurring gathering curated by global arts and culture strategist Yijin Liu — a table where ideas move across disciplines, cultures, and life stages, and where conversation itself becomes the reason to gather.
For this edition, Meridian Table takes place in a private space overlooking the Waitematā Harbour. Over a shared afternoon tea experience, a small group sits down together — not to network, not to perform, but simply to talk.
This gathering welcomes Nick Falzon, Columbia University faculty member and former Disney executive, joining the table during his brief visit to Auckland. Together, participants explore creativity, education, and navigating global pathways in an increasingly interconnected world.
Each seat is intentional.

「一席之间」 是由全球艺术与文化战略顾问刘一锦发起的餐桌系列。在这里，不同行业、文化与人生阶段自然交汇，人们因对话而相聚，也常带着新的视角离开。
本次活动将在面向 Waitematā Harbour 的私密空间举行。在小规模的共享下午茶中，我们邀请来自不同背景的参与者同桌而坐——不为社交标签，也不为展示自己，只为认真地聊一聊。
本期餐桌特别邀请哥伦比亚大学教授、前迪士尼高管 Nick Falzon，在其短暂停留奥克兰期间加入对话，共同讨论创意、教育与全球发展的多种可能。

What to Expect 活动体验
Expect an intimate afternoon shaped by open conversation. Ideas move fluidly across arts, education, and global pathways, guided by curiosity and shared experience. The atmosphere is relaxed yet attentive, allowing dialogue to unfold organically around the table.
Each seat includes The Shared Table afternoon tea, where savoury and sweet creations inspired by Sri Lanka, India, Hong Kong, and New Zealand accompany the conversation.
