About Event

Join us for an interactive green innovation workshop featuring three 2026 Yale Climate Fellows who are pioneering climate solutions across the Global South. Each founder will share their entrepreneurial journey building impactful climate ventures:

Tao Lan (China) - Founder & CEO of Green Inclusive Science and Technology, whose digital platform has inspired 100+ million users to reduce over 2 million tons of CO2 emissions through tracked and rewarded carbon reduction efforts.

Anish Malpani (India) - Founder of Without®, transforming "unrecyclable" plastic waste into high-quality products using patented technology while providing former waste-pickers with dignified employment at 2-3x higher wages.

Joey Ocon (Philippines) - Co-founder & President/CTO of Nascent Batteries, ASEAN's first sodium-ion battery start-up, and Principal Strategist for Energy Transition (Southeast Asia) at Forum for the Future, advancing just and regenerative energy solutions.

This session offers a unique opportunity to learn from founders who are actively building scalable climate businesses and to engage in discussion about the realities of green entrepreneurship in emerging markets.

This event — hosted in partnership with the Yale International Leadership Center at the Jackson School of Global Affairs — is part of the Yale International Leadership Center's Climate Week, which brings 16 Climate Fellows to campus to convene as leaders driving climate policy, finance, and technological innovation in their countries.
