Vibe Code a Trustless AI Agent on Hedera 🏗️🔗

3 hours. No hand-coding. Walk out with a deployed autonomous agent that pays, proves, and remembers — on-chain.

📅 Monday, May 5, 2026

🕒 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM EDT

📍 The Clevelander South Beach, Miami Beach, FL

🎯 You Don't Need to Be a Developer

You need a laptop, an AI pair programmer (Claude, Cursor, Copilot — dealer's choice), and three hours.

Agent 402 is Open Source infrastructure for AI agents that transact in USDC on Hedera, anchor every decision to the Hedera Consensus Service, and find each other through on-chain identity. Yesterday at HederaCon you heard about AI + Web3 with verifiable infrastructure. Today you build it — by talking to your AI, not by writing code from scratch.

This is vibe coding: describe what you want in plain language, let your AI pair programmer write the code, and use test-driven development as your safety net. If you can describe a problem clearly, you can build an agent that solves it.

🚀 What You'll Deploy

By 6:00 PM you'll have a working agent system on Hedera testnet:

  • 🪪 An agent with an on-chain identity — HTS NFT registry + did:hedera DID, discoverable via HCS-14 directory

  • 🧠 Persistent cognitive memory — your agent remembers across sessions, with every memory anchored to HCS for tamper-proof audit

  • 💸 USDC payments — x402 protocol settlement via Hedera Token Service in under 3 seconds

  • ⭐ A reputation score — consensus-timestamped feedback that can't be faked

  • 📡 A published service — your agent advertises its capabilities, other agents can discover and pay it

🗓️ Workshop Flow

🔵 3:00 - 4:00 PM — Identity & Memory Vibe code your first agent. Register it on Hedera with an NFT identity and a DID. Give it memory that persists and self-organizes. Anchor everything to HCS so it's provably tamper-proof. You'll use ZeroDB for the data layer — vectors, memory, files, one API key.

🟢 4:00 - 5:00 PM — Payments & Trust Wire x402 payment flows. Your agent can now earn and spend USDC on Hedera. Build a reputation layer where feedback is consensus-timestamped and payment-gated — no fake reviews possible. Watch your agent choose who to work with based on on-chain trust.

🟣 5:00 - 6:00 PM — Discovery & Marketplace Your agent advertises its services. Other workshop agents discover yours via HCS-10 messaging. Multi-agent coordination happens live. Publish to the marketplace. By the end, you have a self-sovereign agent economy running across the room.

🛠️ What You'll Use

  • Agent 402 — Open Source autonomous agent framework built for Hedera

  • ZeroDB — Vector memory, NoSQL, file storage. One API key, zero infrastructure

  • AINative Cloud — Route to Claude, GPT-4, Gemini, Llama, Mistral — one credit balance for your AI pair programmer and your agents

  • Hedera Testnet — Free HBAR and USDC for the workshop

  • Your AI pair programmer — Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf — whatever you use to vibe code

👥 Who Should Come

  • 💼 Founders & product people who want to understand what's actually possible with autonomous agents on Hedera — by building one, not watching slides

  • 👩‍💻 Developers who want to extend their Hedera toolkit with agent infrastructure

  • ✨ Vibe coders who've been prompting their way through projects and want to tackle something real on a blockchain

  • 🤔 Anyone from HederaCon who heard "AI + Web3" and thought "okay, but show me"

No blockchain experience required. No coding experience required. Bring curiosity and a laptop.

🎟️ Tickets

  • 🎓 Student – $49

  • 👩‍💻 Developer – $99

  • ✨ Vibe Coder (non-technical) – $99

  • 🌐 Virtual (live + recording) – $20

🎁 Attending AI Native Camp – Web 3 Edition – Miami? The full-day camp ($250/$500) includes the Agent 402 class at no extra charge. Finish the camp's build sprint, walk straight into the Hedera deep-dive.

🔥 15 in-person seats to start. Virtual unlimited.

💻 What to Bring

  • Laptop (macOS, Linux, or Windows with WSL)

  • An AI coding assistant installed (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)

  • A Hedera testnet account (optional — we'll set you up in the first 10 minutes)

🎉 Then Stay for the Party

At 7:00 PM, same venue, the code stops and the Cinco de Mayo starts. AINative: Proof of Fiesta 🌮🍹 — tacos, tequila tastings, live music, and the builders you just spent three hours shipping with. No panels. No pitches. South Beach after dark with the people building Web3's next chapter.

👨‍🏫 Your Instructor

Karsten Wade has spent 25 years making Open Source work for humans — from founding team of Red Hat's Open Source Program Office to authoring The Open Source Way to a career across the Linux Foundation ecosystem helping developers and communities thrive. For the past three years he's been deep in the AI-native space, running the PAI Palooza hackathon series and now leading developer relations at AINative Studio, where he's focused on questions like: what happens when we make AI agents trustworthy enough for regulated industries? Agent 402 is that answer, built on Hedera.

🏢 About AINative Studio

AINative Studio provides the infrastructure layer for the AI-native economy — ZeroDB for persistent memory, AINative Cloud for multi-model AI, and Agent 402 for autonomous agents that are auditable, financially sovereign, and built on Hedera's trust layer.
