Every founder is writing a story of their own. On March 17th, we’re coming together to write the next chapter of the SHE/THEY Copenhagen community.
Building a business is often a solitary act – especially when you don't see yourself reflected in the traditional "hustle culture" of the startup world. For our next Copenhagen event, SHE/THEY is teaming up with The Pond – Copenhagen’s beloved queer bookstore café.
Join us for an evening of intentional connection, honest exchange, and some cute #QueerBossEnergy.

What to Expect:
📖 1 Year of The Pond
We begin with the founders of The Pond, who will share their journey of building a queer-owned business in the heart of Copenhagen. Having just celebrated their first anniversary, they’ll share the milestones, the hurdles, and the lessons learned as queer entrepreneurs in a cozy, community-oriented format.
🤝 Slow-Flow Connections
Forget the anxiety of 3-minute speed dating. We invite you to a Slow-Flow Social. In this semi-curated connection session, we’ll match you in small, inclusive "pods" to engage in deeper conversations about your ventures, your hurdles, and your "silent wins." It’s designed to be low-pressure, intentional, and neurodivergent-friendly.
Who is this for?
The Founders: You’ve started your journey and are looking for a peer group that truly "gets it."
The Wannabes: You have an idea (or three) and are looking for the community and courage to hit "start."
The Allies: You believe in a more inclusive startup world and want to champion queer and FLINTA* talent.

The Pond is an LGBTQIA+ bookstore serving coffee and drinks in a community-centric space. It is a safe haven to explore queer voices, get cozy, and organize. They are dedicated to providing a space for queer people to grow, connect, and rest.

🌈 What is the SHE/THEY club?
SHE/THEY is a community for queer women* and non-binary start up founders and their supporters, built on three pillars:
🔹 Connection – Local startup-focused meetups - for club members, friends, queers and the start-up ecosystem
🔹 Knowledge – Sharing startup wisdom in digital masterclasses, mentoring sessions and more
🔹 Opportunities – Sharing relevant funding, events, and stage slots for club members
We exist because queer women* and non-binary* founders still face extra hurdles in the startup space – less funding, fewer connections, and more barriers. We’re here to shift that, so you can dive into your #QUEERBOSSENERGY.
