About Event

Hosted by the Cambridge University Energy Technology Society. Enter Jesus College from the West Court entrance on Jesus Lane, and follow signs to the Webb Library.

After the talk, join us at the Architect for drinks and networking, and continue the conversation on energy technology entrepreneurship.

Drawing on his extensive industry experience, Mike will share practical insights into how successful energy startups are conceived and built. His talk will explore the full journey from ideation to execution, highlighting how digital technology, data, and market awareness can be leveraged to create scalable solutions in an increasingly fast-paced and competitive energy landscape.

Mike is the Business Development Lead at Navitasoft, a company that develops advanced software for energy transport, trading, and storage management. Prior to joining Navitasoft, he founded Energy Alert Ltd, a real-time energy price risk management SaaS platform, which was successfully acquired by Viewpoint Solutions in 2016. Following the acquisition, Mike continued to drive innovation as Data Science Lead at Viewpoint. He is now business development team lead at navitasoft.
