AI, Advice, and The Self [public]
Who do we become when we take advice from machines? Drawing on insights from my Oxford Internet Institute research and my human-AI relationship coaching practice, this workshop explores how advice shapes identity — and how talking to chatbots impacts our capacity to connect with real people. This session is interactive and practical: participants will leave with a better understanding of LLMs’ personality defaults and tools to build AI advisors that override them. We’ll also go through client case studies and chat with custom models to help us think about when we should and shouldn’t lean on AI for advice.
Ahead of the workshop, learn more about Amelia’s human-AI relationship coaching in this recent Bloomberg feature.
Workshop will run 6-7pm, then feel free to linger to chat more!
