About The Global Cultures Hackathon 2026

We invite 50 ambitious students globally to build a digital cultural artefact, which showcases what makes them and their cultures unique.

Key Dates:

Launch Day: 21st March, 10:30AM - 12PM Singapore Time (SGT)

Tech Workshop Option 1: 22nd March, 10:30AM - 12PM Singapore Time (SGT)

Tech Workshop Option 2: 22nd March, 3:00PM - 4:30PM Singapore Time (SGT)

Finals: 11th April, 10:30AM - 12:30PM Singapore Time (SGT)

About Build Learning:

At Build Learning, students explore their passions, embark on self-initiated projects, and solve real-world problems with industry mentors using Design Thinking and new technologies.

We are proud to have successfully organised the following full-house events, in collaboration and with support from organisations from Big Tech (OpenAI, Lovable, Cloudflare, Google, AWS), higher educational institutes (Stanford University Institute for Human Centered AI, Singapore Institute of Technology, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore), as well as the Singapore Government (Singapore Global Network, AI Singapore, SGInnovate, Infocomm Media Development Authority):
