Designers
Dominika Kowalska
My name is Dominika and I’m an artist and sustainable designer. I came to the fashion industry because of my love for nature and to be the change I want to see in this world/ to change it cause it’s one of the most polluting industries in the world. In my practice I love to use upcycled leather and innovative alternative textiles like biomaterials (alginate etc). For me textiles and movement are a form of expression that’s why visual storytelling is so important to me. I love using contrasts, duality and avangarde in my work. Over the years I acquired lots of experience, especially on set working at LFW for the past 3 seasons. Now it’s my turn to be on the other side of the show- as a designer. In the future I would love to orchestrate my own runway show and pull all the strings./ In the future I want to dress other artists and connect over craftsmanship.
