​Textile Journeys; weaving from waste

​So often we don’t think twice about the little pieces, but when we bring them all together we step into the possibility of weaving a whole new story.  

​Join us in a space where we empower ourselves through the art of weaving ~ an ancient practice that has traveled through time, cultures, and unexpected geographies.

​In this 2,5 hour workshop we will learn about the history and cultural context of weaving and then be guided through the technique on lap-sized looms, bringing scraps of cloth back to life by making a woven coaster or mini wall tapestry. 

​All materials will be provided, but you’re invited to bring a piece of clothing you no longer wear to integrate into your creation. ✨
