Tree Walk & Conservation Careers (Nadhi Chennai)
This Chennai edition of Nadhi-SheforClimate is special , we’re partnering with Nizhal, the incredible team behind the Kotturpuram Urban Forest, a thriving green space nurtured right in the heart of the city. 🌳
You’ll get to meet Shobha Menon, Founder trustee of Nizhal, and join her for a guided walk through the forest , an inspiring example of how citizen-led action can transform urban spaces.
We’ll roll up our sleeves for a short volunteering activity, reconnecting with nature and community in the process.
And to close the evening, Roopali Raghavan- Head (Terrestrial Species and Conservation Planning)- Mandai Nature, Singapore, will share pathways for how each of us can make a difference , from volunteering to building meaningful careers in conservation.
Come experience how small actions can grow into thriving ecosystems ,just like the Kotturpuram Urban Forest itself.
