About Event

5:30 arrival for 6-9pm event.

Description
Hormonal changes, whether through the menstrual cycle, perimenopause, or menopause, shape not just our physical wellbeing but also how we show up as leaders, collaborators, and innovators. Yet too often, these conversations remain in the shadows, framed around deficit and struggle rather than power and possibility.

In this event, we’ll explore the science behind hormonal cycles, how environmental and lifestyle factors play a role, and the very real psychological and workplace challenges that come with hormonal health. Together with our expert panel, we’ll reframe this as a conversation about strength, knowledge, and community. By bringing hormonal literacy into the open, we celebrate the diverse experiences that women and underrepresented leaders bring into tech and product teams and also into the products we create.

This event builds on the momentum of our May menopause panel in the Evolve series, extending the conversation across the full spectrum of hormonal experiences, from cycle-awareness through to midlife transitions.

What you’ll gain from this session

  • Knowledge is (real) power: Reframe the old corporate cliché by recognising that understanding your hormones and cycle gives you the tools to reset how you work, lead, and advocate for yourself.

  • Science made practical: Clear insights into what’s happening in your body during different phases of the cycle, from menstrual health, fertility through to perimenopause and menopause. How this connects to energy, focus, and decision-making.

  • Harnessing strengths: Discover how to use hormonal awareness to align tasks, conversations, and leadership moments with times when you’re most energised, creative, or strategic.

  • Navigating challenges: Build strategies for managing hormonal shifts in a way that supports your wellbeing, rather than working against it.

  • Shaping the workplace: Learn about emerging policies, employer standards, and practical ways to bring these conversations into your organisation with confidence.

  • Community support: Connect with peers who are navigating similar experiences, share practical tools, and leave with renewed confidence to speak openly about hormonal health.
