Seattle’s Flagship Startup Hiring Event
The Seattle Startup Hiring Festival brings together 30+ startups and ~200 job seekers for a full day of matchmaking, conversation, and in-person connection. With three hiring blocks, three partner-led discussion panels, and networking over breakfast, buffet lunch, afternoon snacks, and a closing happy hour, this event is designed to help startups hire smarter and faster.
Here’s how it works: once your startup registers, MeeBoss will get your jobs live within 48 hours. From there, our match-first, chat-first platform connects you with the most qualified candidates for your roles. You’ll begin by chatting with these candidates online, and when you find the right fit, you can invite them to meet you in person during your 75-minute hiring block at the festival.
Each startup chooses one hiring block only when registering. This keeps time commitments reasonable while still giving you exposure to a wide pool of candidates throughout the day. And if a candidate you want to meet isn’t available during your block, no problem — we’ll have dedicated space open all day for impromptu chats, ensuring you don’t miss the chance to connect.
This format guarantees concentrated, high-quality interactions while still giving you the energy, PR spotlight, and networking momentum of a full-day festival.
How It Works for Startups

Ticket types are tied to each hiring block, select one when registering.
Block One: 12:00 – 1:15 PM
Block Two: 2:45 – 4:00 PM
Fill out your company details (name, website, contact info).
MeeBoss schedules your onboarding call
After registration, the MeeBoss team will contact you to confirm details.
During this call, we’ll:
Collect your job descriptions (paste links, upload docs, or we'll help write them for you).
Build your company profile and post your jobs live.
Jobs go live within 48 hours
Once live, your roles are matched automatically with top candidates on MeeBoss.
Chats begin with your curated matches.
Job seekers registered for the festival will also be able to reach out.
Day of the Festival (Sept 30)
You’ll host a booth during your chosen block (70 minutes).
Meet candidates you’ve already engaged online, plus new walk-ups.
Between blocks, all attendees gather upstairs for discussion panels, buffet lunch, and networking.
After the Event
Keep conversations active in MeeBoss chat.
Many startups leave the Hiring Festival with their next hires in place.

Hiring Festival FAQ
What happens after I register?
Once you register, a MeeBoss team member will reach out to schedule a quick call. During that call, we’ll collect your open job descriptions, get your company profile set up, and post your jobs live on the MeeBoss platform. Within 48 hours, your roles will be live and we'll begin matching you with candidates.
Is MeeBoss booking interviews for me?
No. MeeBoss provides matchmaking and direct chat, but you control your interview invites. You’ll see your matches, start conversations, and then invite the candidates you’re most interested in to a 10-minute interview during your hiring block.
How many interviews should I expect?
We recommend planning for a series of short (10-minute) conversations during your 75-minute hiring block. This usually works out to ~7 interviews, but the format is flexible. If you have more candidates than time, there will be a dedicated space available throughout the day for impromptu chats.
Do I need to be at the event all day?
No. Startups only need to be present during their assigned hiring block, plus about 15 minutes before to set up their table. You’re also welcome to stay for meals, panels, and happy hour if you’d like to network further.
What should I bring for setup?
Tables (approx. 3x5) will be provided with your company name displayed. You’re welcome to bring lightweight branding like a table runner, pop-up banner, or small giveaways (stickers, swag, etc.). Think of it as making your brand presence visible, not a space for large demos or investor decks.
Can I meet candidates outside my block?
Yes. While your booth time is limited to your 75-minute block, candidates may want to meet outside that window. We’ll have designated areas for those conversations throughout the day.
Will I get a list of all candidates attending?
No, MeeBoss is a match-first platform. You’ll see only your matched candidates in the system, and conversations begin there. Attendees outside your matches may also approach your booth during the festival.
Do I need to bring my whole team?
Two or three representatives is plenty. We recommend bringing at least one person who can answer role-specific questions and one who can run conversations at the booth.
