Quantum Workshop #1: Introduction to Qrisp with IQM ⚛️💻
From theory to the terminal 🇧🇬🇫🇮
After two successful Spotlight events, it's time to get hands-on. We are launching our technical series – Quantum Workshop – designed for those who want to move beyond the "what" and start learning the "how".
For our first session, we are partnering with IQM Quantum Computers, Europe's leader in quantum hardware, to introduce you to Qrisp.
What is Qrisp? It’s a high-level programming framework that allows you to describe quantum algorithms using classical programming paradigms. It’s the perfect entry point for software engineers looking to transition into the quantum space.
The Experience: This is a hybrid workshop. A senior engineer from IQM will join us live online to lead the session. We will start with a brief theoretical foundation and quickly move into a practical, live-coding demo where you can follow along.
What you need: 💻 Your Laptop: This is mandatory.
⚙️ Preparation: No complex setup is needed. We will use cloud-based environments to ensure everyone can start coding instantly.
The Agenda:
🕕 18:00 – Networking, Pizza & Drinks 🍕
🕖 19:00 – Workshop
🕗 20:30 – After-hours Connections
📍 Location: Sofia Tech Park (Laboratory Complex - Hall 3).
🎟 Access: Free
⚠️ Strict Capacity: To ensure we can help everyone in the room, we are limiting this to 50 spots only.
Strategic Partners: Sofia Tech Park
Supported by: STEALM Academy, Advanced Flight Technologies, Center for Quantum Technologies (SU), Technical University Sofia, TUES & AZTUES.
⚠️ Note: Our last event reached full capacity in record time. Secure your spot early to ensure you're part of the room where the future is being built.
