​​​​​​Our Guest: Shaun McCallum

Shaun McCallum is a Scottish design engineer, architectural designer, and founder of Fenestra, an AI-first 3D rendering platform built for architects and interior designers. Trained in architecture, his work sits at the intersection of spatial computing, generative AI, and advanced design tooling.

He previously worked on AR and VR initiatives at Meta Reality Labs and is co-founder of iheartblob, an experimental mixed reality architecture collective whose work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the MAK, A+D Museum, and the V&A Museum. The collective designed the world’s first blockchain-enabled pavilion for the Tallinn Architecture Biennale.

As an educator, Shaun has taught postgraduate programmes at UCLA’s School of Architecture and Urban Design. His work focuses on advancing how architects and designers create, communicate, and deliver spatial experiences using emerging technologies.

Fenestra is a spatial AI canvas for architects and interior designers. Built for real design workflows, it enables teams to explore ideas, generate high-quality visuals, and communicate spatial intent in real time.

From early concept to client presentation, Fenestra helps architects rapidly imagine and experience spatial environments with AI as a true design collaborator.
