Artist Talk with Nicole Cooper
Join artist Nicole Cooper for a conversation about The Mothers In Me Will Meet You There, her solo exhibition exploring Active Hope and our emotional relationship with climate crisis through nine figurative oil paintings.
Cooper will walk through key paintings in the exhibition, discuss the concept of Active Hope—a practice of conscious engagement rather than passive optimism—and share insights into her creative process. The talk explores how art can create space for the complex emotions that arise when we face our environmental reality: grief, anxiety, love, and possibility.
Time for audience questions included.
