About Event

📽️ Join Us at Wu Wei for a cozy Movie Night! 📽️

Shoplifters follows a makeshift family living on the margins of society in Tokyo, held together by small acts of care rather than blood. Relying on petty theft to get by, they share a quiet, improvised life built on routine, closeness, and mutual support.

When they take in a young girl they find alone, their household expands, and their bond deepens as they begin to care for her as one of their own. As everyday life continues, the film gradually reveals the complexity of their relationships and the fragile nature of the life they’ve created together.

Our cozy evening will be complemented by delicious homemade hot cacao, tea and a sweet treat to enjoy with the movie.
