Event Details

Doors open at 5:00 PM for an hour of networking, drinks, and introductions. Connect with builders across the Bay Area as we kick off an evening focused on confidential compute and decentralized infrastructure for AI.

Main Program

At 6:00 PM, join us for live presentations and demos:

  • Dylan Kawalec, Head of Developer Relations at Phala, will showcase dstack, demonstrating how Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) and AI work together to enable secure, verifiable computation.

  • Jimmy Nagles, Tech Lead at HumanAIx, will present Oort, the data cloud powering private data markets, and explore how privacy-preserving data and AI converge.

Interactive Builder Session

We’re bringing together Phala’s dstack and Oort DataHub for a practical builder session in San Francisco.

You’ll see live demos, learn how to leverage confidential compute, and dive into DataHub’s task system.

Cross-Ecosystem Builder Task

Participants will:

  • ⭐ earn phala cloud credit to STAR dstack/tee

  • 🔐 COMPLETE tasks on datahub to earn rewards

  • 🪙 DISCOVER how to earn rewards for private data labeling, and human verification efforts

What We’ll Cover

  • Live demo of Phala’s dstack/tee

  • How confidential compute applies to real-world AI workflows

  • Oort DataHub platform walkthrough and introductions to HumanAIx

  • Learn How tasks, proofs, and rewards work!

Why Attend

  • Learn how TEE and AI integrate in decentralized applications with real world incentives

  • Onboard into the OORT DataHub task ecosystem

  • Earn tokens for hands-on participation

  • Connect with the Bay Area builder community

Who Should Come

  • Developers interested in privacy-first and security-focused compute

  • AI tool builders working on confidential AI or privacy data access management

  • AI / Infrastructure engineers exploring on-prem, compute, and data solutions

  • Anyone curious about open, decentralized data markets, privacy-first compute, and zero-trust architecture
