We’re teaming up with Figma to showcase their brilliant software engineer roles (sorry designers, we still love you!) and give you an inside look at what it’s like to work there.
Expect real talk, tangible advice, and plenty of “oh wow, I needed to hear that” moments. You’ll leave with a toolkit of practical ways to lift others as you rise, and a clearer picture of how your own next step could look... maybe even at Figma 👀

Our speakers
Hayley Dawson is the founder of Let's Talk Human Skills – a workplace training company that makes work, and working together, better. Hayley has trained over 5,000 people at places of work and education like ASOS, The King's Trust, and UCL. She's also the host of Let's Talk... – a career-focussed conversation series that helps us experience the human connection we're all missing out on.
Janine Luk is a Senior Software Engineer specialising in designing and implementing enterprise-grade distributed ledger solutions for financial services. A GCP-certified Professional Cloud Architect and full-stack engineer, she brings expertise in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Passionate about diversity in tech, Janine volunteers with Code First Girls as a Lead Technical & Interview Coach and Ambassador, mentoring and advocating for underrepresented individuals in STEM.
Amber Shand is the Founder of She Bytes Back, speaker, and former Software Engineer on a mission to help women in tech be seen, speak up, and advocate for their work. With a community of over 3,000 subscribers and more than 900 event attendees, she’s worked with the likes of Sage, Salesforce, Google, and other tech giants to help their people build confidence, boost visibility, and unlock exciting new opportunities.
