Vibe coding is building web applications or websites by explaining them in natural language. It is like talking with ChatGPT, but instead of text output, you get an actual working app. If you’re business-minded, think of all the cool projects you can launch. If you want to get a job soon, you might need a portfolio website. If you care about productivity, you can build your own productivity tools like a cute habit tracker or a study hub.

Session format
This is a 90-minute hands-on workshop split into two parts:
a short theoretical introduction covering vibe coding fundamentals, its origins, available tools, and best practices (15 minutes),
followed by a practical session where you'll actually use vibe coding tools to create your own application (75 minutes).
Everyone will leave with a small live app they can publish and share with the world.

About the host
Andrei is a designer who loves to build apps using AI coding tools. He has been designing and building apps for the last 5 years. By day, he works at Valamis, where he designs learning management systems for enterprise organizations. By night, he co-runs ShadowStack, Joensuu’s community of AI natives, organizing vibe coding jams and hackathons. Andrei graduated from Karelia UAS, where he focused on design and startups, and raised €9,000 for his projects via micro-funding organizations like Draft.
