Embodied Balance: a four-week yoga journey [public]
🌿 About Event:
This four-week series offers a slow, intentional approach to yoga as a complement to meditation and other inner work. Each class explores how mindful movement and breath can help integrate awareness through the whole body: releasing tension, refining alignment, and supporting nervous system balance. Accessible for beginners and suitable for all levels, the practice includes options for gentler or more active engagement. Over the month, we’ll explore grounding, release, openness, and integration in order to cultivate a steadier, more embodied presence in daily life. Drop-ins are welcome, though the arc of the series is designed to be experienced as a whole.
👥 Facilitator:
Maria Schulman is a longtime yoga teacher with training in Power Vinyasa, SmartFlow with Annie Carpenter, Rocket, Restorative (with Judith Lasater), and Yoga Therapeutics with Wall Ropes). She cares deeply about creating an accessible practice, embodied awareness, and the quiet ways that movement can support healing and resilience. Maria teaches with warmth, curiosity, and a belief that practice should meet you exactly where you are.
