​Want to build more sustainable artificial intelligence?

​Join us at the Green-in AI Hackathon, Sat Oct 25th, during Stanford Climate Week!

​In this 12-hour hackathon, you'll team up will fellow students to tackle the environmental impact of artificial intelligence. Whether you’re passionate about cutting the carbon footprint of massive models, designing energy-efficient algorithms, or designing new ways to power data centers with renewables, this is your chance to dive deep into building sustainable AI. 🤖🌱

​Our prize tracks include both policy and tech components to encourage students from all majors to collaborate and participate! You will have access to mentorship from experts in industry and academia to guide you through the process. 🏗️

​We’re especially excited to see projects that measure, assess, and reduce the environmental impact of AI. We encourage and help participants to later submit their work to our special issue on innovative environmental solutions (deadline October 30th!). 📝
