All Ages Movie Night - SFFS Edition
TLDR This event is a SF Friends School (SFFS) and Commons crossover. We will watch Wallace and Grommit.
Welcome Friends and Commons friends!
Isa and I are hosting a variation of our Rot Night, our intentionally unintentional Friday night decompression time ✨ with screens✨. This edition is a Count-Me-In event, part of SFFS’ Annual Fund, which helps families like ours join the school community. Words can’t capture the gratitude I feel for SFFS and its parent community. The least I could do is share another community that means a lot to us, The Commons.
The Commons is like a college student union back where working and socializing coexist symbiotically. Isa and I treat it like a communal living room. We hope you enjoy it for the night (and come back - Isa wants more kids here!)
🎬 UPDATE: We have a quorum around Wallace and Grommit!
Previous: We haven’t committed to what’s on the big screen, but possibilities include: Wallace and Grommit shorts: A Grand Da Out, A Close Shave, and The Wrong Trousers; A Bug’s Life; Dog Man; Bluey
🕰️ How I hope the night flows

🏛 About The Commons
The Commons is a community-based “Fourth Place” that catalyzes each member’s path to authenticity, full self-expression, and aliveness - rooted in the belief that community is essential to that journey. Located in the heart of San Francisco, we are redefining what it means to gather, work, and connect. By day, we’re a playful co-working space; by night, a vibrant community meeting house.
