Culture Night (LCAW)
As part of London Climate Action Week and the second Youth Climate Summit, Youth Climate Collaborative and Cody Dock are delighted to present Culture Night - an evening celebrating the role of culture, creativity, community, and connection in climate leadership.
Join us at Cody Dock on the evening of Sunday, June 21st, to enjoy workshops led by Oxfam and Chilli Foundation, a Fireside Chat with the UNFCCC Presidency Youth Climate Champions from COP30 and COP31, and talks and performances by leaders from across London and around the world.
Culture Night will combine music, performances, short reflections, conversation, and informal networking to create space for relationship-building and inspiration ahead of the week’s programming.
5:00-5:30 Arrival + Welcome
5:30-7:00 Workshops + Mixer by Oxfam and Chilli Foundation
7:00-8:15 Line-up of Speakers and Performers
8:15-9:30 DJ Set / Dance Party
At a time when climate spaces can often feel fast-paced and extractive, this event aims to create room for grounding, joy, creativity, and human connection - recognising that culture and community are essential to sustaining long-term climate leadership.
The evening will also highlight the importance of local spaces like Cody Dock in building resilient, community-centred futures and fostering collaboration across generations, sectors, and lived experiences.
