Trick or Treat: A HallowGreen Pitch Night
A Climate Tech Pitch Night with seven Swiss startups, opened by a Bay Area panel on how green innovative solutions really are
This Halloween week, Swissnex in San Francisco invites you to a Pitch Night with a hauntingly good lineup: seven Swiss climate tech startups, showcased as the highlight of a two-week Startup Camp powered by Innosuisse.
But first, forget the scary questions. Let’s ask the exciting ones. How can climate tech create real, measurable impact? And what will it take to accelerate the solutions that work? With the green premium fading and investors looking for more than a “clean” label, a panel of Bay Area climate experts will map out where the biggest opportunities lie and how founders can seize them. Then the panelists trade their seats for the jury table to pick the night’s winning pitch.
We close with drinks and networking at 9zero, San Francisco’s climate innovation hub.
Costumes are encouraged. Bonus points for thrifted or upcycled looks.
The Startups pitching:
Ageospatial: AI for properties, infrastructure and land
apheros: Apheros, an ETH Zurich spin-off, develops metal foam cold plates with up to 1000x more surface area than conventional designs, cooling the most powerful AI chips.
RTDT: RTDT is building the sensing and AI layer that allows wind turbines to autonomously adapt to their site-specific wind conditions for more efficient energy production.
REOR20: REOR20 is a Swiss deep tech startup headquartered in Zurich, focused on revolutionizing flood risk management using AI and advanced computational physics.
SolidWatts: SolidWatts electrifies industrial process heating, bringing it into the 21st century by replacing fossil fuels with advanced solid-state RF technology that scales for any kind of high-heat process, at unprecedented efficiency.
Vivent Biosignals: Vivent Biosignals develops AI-powered plant biosensors that decode crops' electrical signals to detect stress, disease and treatment response before visible symptoms appear, for growers, ag-input suppliers and researchers.
vyzn: vyzn is an AI-powered building optimisation platform that turns 3D building models into data-driven answers on cost, emissions, energy, comfort and safety in early planning phases, for architects, developers and planners.
Who it’s for: founders, investors, corporate innovation and sustainability teams, researchers, and anyone curious about where climate tech is headed and what Switzerland brings to it.
What to expect: a candid panel, seven sharp pitches, and drinks and networking with the Bay Area climate community.
