Beyond Generation – How Musicians Use AI in Real Creative Workflows
Beyond Generation – How Musicians Use AI in Real Creative Workflows
Presenter: Teodor Costache is a composer for immersive and interactive media, working at the intersection of music, emerging technology, and education. He is currently pursuing a double degree at Berklee College of Music where he is also active as a tutor. His work focuses on how sound and music function within real-time systems and how these systems shape perception, learning, and creative agency.
What to Expect: In this session you will discover how AI can transform your music workflow as a creative partner, not a replacement. In this presentation, Teodor Costache will demonstrate practical, human-centered applications that elevate creativity rather than replace it. We will be exploring real-world use cases across four key areas: Idea Mediation, Idea Sharing & Collaboration, Education & Skill Development, and Creative Exploration. Through live demonstrations and concrete examples, you'll learn how to intentionally integrate AI into your workflow as a productivity, creativity, and learning tool. We will concluded with Q&A and open discussion, welcoming questions about workflows, practical integration, opportunities, and future directions for AI in music.
