Masterclass: From Impact Data to Impact Reporting
Masterclass: From Impact Data to Impact Reporting
Practical guidance on using structured frameworks and communicating impact effectively in emerging markets.
As impact investing continues to grow across Latin America, investors are increasingly expected to communicate not only financial performance but also the social and environmental results of their investments. However, impact reporting practices across the region remain uneven, often relying on inconsistent metrics and approaches that make it difficult to compare results, learn across the ecosystem, and demonstrate credibility to stakeholders.
This masterclass, organized by Latimpacto in collaboration with Impact Frontiers, will explore how investors can move from collecting impact data to producing clear, structured, and credible impact reports. The session will provide practical guidance on the use of established frameworks—such as the Impact Frontiers Impact Reporting Norms—and discuss how investors can translate impact data into meaningful narratives that support transparency, accountability, and better capital allocation.
The session will combine expert insights with investor perspectives, offering participants a practical understanding of common challenges in impact reporting and strategies to address them. Through a moderated conversation with leading impact investors and guidance from Impact Frontiers, participants will explore how to balance rigor and practicality, structure effective reports, and strengthen reporting practices within the Latin American impact investing ecosystem.
This masterclass is designed for impact investors, fund managers, ecosystem builders, and professionals involved in impact measurement and reporting who are looking to improve the clarity, credibility, and usefulness of their impact reports.
