Who Gets to Shape the Future? A conversation on leadership and representation in science, technology, and healthcare innovation
Join Boston Women’s Fund and FemSTEM for an intimate evening conversation bringing together leaders, innovators, and community builders who care deeply about expanding opportunity and representation in science, technology, and healthcare innovation.
Across these fields, talent is abundant—but access, representation, and investment remain uneven. This gathering will explore a central question:
What does it take to ensure that the people historically excluded from opportunity can not only enter fields shaping the future — but stay, belong, and thrive?
Through a moderated conversation with leaders from across Boston’s innovation ecosystem, we’ll examine how mentorship, investment, visibility, and community leadership help shape pathways into science, technology, and healthcare innovation—and what it takes to sustain those pathways over time.
Designed as a small, conversation-centered gathering, the evening will bring together a dynamic group of leaders, donors, and community partners who care about strengthening Boston’s ecosystem of opportunity.
The evening will also include a fundraising invitation to support the work of both Boston Women’s Fund and FemSTEM. Together, the organizations are working to expand pathways into innovation while ensuring that girls, women, and gender-expansive people from historically marginalized communities have the support, belonging, and leadership opportunities needed to thrive.
