Book Launch: The Leadership Catalyst

​Tavern Community Coworking and Ashley Cheung, Principal & Founder of Virtual Patent Gateway (VPG) will co-host an engaging in-person panel to celebrate the launch of her new book, The Leadership Catalyst: Igniting Inspired Change. The panel will feature author Ashley Cheung, illustrator Alyssa Gangaram, and moderator Melissa Cohen. ​In her book, Ashley Cheung explores the challenges of leading multigenerational teams in urban environments. Using raccoon spirit characters, she addresses vulnerabilities, mindset differences, and social anxieties related to generational variances. Each raccoon embodies traits like resourcefulness, adaptability, belongingness, confidence, and wisdom. The narrative examines the cultural roots and stereotypes that affect dynamics. By fostering an inclusive environment and celebrating individual contributions, leaders can leverage the strengths of generations. Cheung introduces the “Raccoons’ Wheel of Wisdom” with five transformative microlearning moments at the end of each chapter, offering actionable strategies to inspire teams and promote innovation in today’s evolving workspace.
