

Lunch and Learn - SCORE Washington District & Technology Entrepreneur Pitch Contest
SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteers, expert business mentors, dedicated to fostering small business communities through professional mentoring and education. Since its founding in 1964, SCORE has helped more than 17 million entrepreneurs plan, launch, manage, and successfully exit their businesses. The team consists of 10,000 experienced business professionals nationally who provide pro bono mentoring and resources in all 50 U.S. states and territories. Notably, SCORE mentors do not take equity ownership or fees, ensuring that client relationships remain strictly confidential and focused entirely on the entrepreneur's growth.
The SCORE Washington District Technology Entrepreneur Pitch Contest
Building on this legacy of support, the SCORE Washington District Technology Entrepreneur Pitch Contest is designed to increase SCORE’s presence in the technology sector and support the thriving tech ecosystem of the Greater Seattle area.
The contest is open to a wide array of technology sectors, including:
• Software & Digital Solutions: AI-powered applications, SaaS, fintech, and cybersecurity.
• Hardware & Advanced Manufacturing: Robotics, IoT solutions, and aerospace.
• Life Sciences: Biotech, digital health, and medical devices.
• Emerging Technologies: Quantum computing and green tech innovations.

Eligibility and Timeline
This competition is open to individuals residing in the SCORE Washington District (covering Alaska, Washington State, and Western Idaho) who are 18 years or older and U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Eligible participants include students, researchers, early-stage entrepreneurs, and founders of revenue-generating startups who are actively developing a scalable tech product or service. All participants must be open to coaching and register with a SCORE mentor.
Key Dates to Remember:
• March 9th: Pitch Competition Registration opens.
• July 31st: Deadline to prepare and submit your pitch deck.
• September 16, 2026: Final Live Pitch Event and Awards.
