About Event

FAULT LINE fɔːlt laɪn (noun)
1. A fracture in the earth's crust where blocks of rock move past each other.
2. A divisive issue or difference of opinion that is likely to have serious consequences.
3. A bi-monthly dinner series in San Francisco designed to reject the echo chamber.

THE PREMISE
The future doesn’t emerge from consensus. It forms in the cracks, where assumptions are stressed, reframed, and sometimes abandoned.

Fault Lines Club is a curated dinner series built around shared inquiry. There are no sides to defend, no points to score, and no winners to crown.

This is not a networking event. It’s a guided conversation among people who think differently and are curious enough to sit with that discomfort. The goal isn’t to be right. The goal is to leave with better questions than the ones you arrived with.

THE PROTOCOL

  • One table. One conversation.
Jeffersonian style. No side chatter, no breakouts.

  • Chatham House Rules.
    Insights leave. Attributions stay.

  • No pitching.
    Curiosity beats persuasion.

  • No winners. No takedowns.
Intellectual friction is welcome. Intellectual dominance is not.

FAULT ZONES (THE CONVERSATIONS)

01 // AI BOOM OR BUST (Appetizer)
With AI stocks soaring but fears of a bubble bursting, is this tech wave supercharging economies and jobs, or setting us up for disruptions in labor markets and innovation? We're seeing rapid adoption, but also risks like overhyping short-term impacts.

02 // ALLIANCES IN FLUX? (Entrée)
As historic alliances fray amid conflicts in Venezuela, Ukraine, the Middle East, and beyond, plus rising multipolarity and trade tensions, is this chaos leading to new deals and resilience, or deeper divisions in a bipolar world?

03 // AGING CRISIS OR YOUTH OPPORTUNITY? (Dessert)
Declining populations in developed nations clash with youth bulges elsewhere, sparking tugs over labor, resources, and migration. Could this fuel conflicts, or drive innovative solutions like new workforce models?

These are starting points, not positions.

ACCESS
