FAQ
Is skiing required to participate?
No — skiing is completely optional. The Ski Summit includes a workshop session from 10:00–12:00, and participants may choose to ski before or after the workshop.
Where do we meet?
We will meet at the venue on top of the mountain at 10:00 AM. Please plan enough time (up to 30mins) to take the gondola and make the short hike from the summit station to the venue.
How do I get up the mountain?
You’ll need to purchase a gondola ticket on site — gondola passes are not included in the event ticket.
Is there a hike involved?
Yes. There is a short, scenic hike from the top of the gondola to the venue. Please wear appropriate footwear, even if you’re not skiing.
Can I rent ski equipment?
Yes. Ski rentals are available at the base of the gondola for an additional charge.
Is there somewhere to store my belongings?
Yes — lockers are available at the base of the gondola for an additional fee.
Will food be provided?
Food is not included, but meals and beverages can be purchased directly from the venue’s restaurant at the summit.
Do I need a ski pass if I’m not skiing?
If you’re only taking the gondola up for the workshop and not skiing, you will still need a gondola ride ticket (purchased onsite). You do not need a full-day ski pass unless you plan to ski.
What should I wear?
Dress warmly and appropriately. Even if you're not skiing, mountain weather can be unpredictable. Layers and proper footwear are recommended.
