​Hardtech demos, robotics, and a builder happy hour

​Austin has become one of the most exciting places in the world to build hardtech. This open house is a chance to see it up close.

​If you’re building real technology, not just talking about it, you’ll probably find your people here.

​Each March, thousands of visitors come to Austin to talk about the future of technology. Events focused on physical technology and real-world systems are still surprisingly rare.

​Austin Hardtech is working to change that.

​We are building a community that connects founders, engineers, investors, and manufacturers working on technologies. This open house is one way we bring those people together.

​For this event, Austin Hardtech is teaming up with re:3D to host a casual gathering where builders can explore the space, see hardware in action, and meet others working on ambitious technologies.

​Event Schedule

​2:00 – 5:00 PM

​Open House at re:3D

​Drop in anytime during the afternoon to explore the re:3D facility.

​Throughout the space, you will find:

​• hardware demos from local companies

​• robotics and experimental prototypes

​• large-format 3D printing in action

​• informal tours of the facility

​The re:3D team will also be demonstrating their Gigabot large-format 3D printers and sharing how they are advancing distributed manufacturing using recycled materials.

​This portion of the event is intentionally casual and exploratory. Walk around, meet builders, and see what people are working on.

​5:00 – 7:00 PM

​Hardtech Happy Hour

​As the open house wraps up, we will transition into a relaxed happy hour.

​Grab a drink, meet other builders, and continue the conversations.

​Pizza, drinks, and good company provided.
