The California Energy Commission (CEC) has launched the Distributed Resources for Innovative Vehicle Energization Strategies (DRIVES) program, offering $12 million in grant funding for demonstration and deployment projects that pair distributed energy resources (DERs) with behind-the-meter EV charging infrastructure.
These projects aim to accelerate energization timelines, improve cost-effectiveness, and demonstrate scalable models for microgrid-integrated EV charging at commercial and fleet sites across California.
Join Climate Finance Solutions (CFS) for a webinar on how to successfully prepare and win DRIVES funding. Our CEC grants experts will walk through program requirements, eligibility nuances, and strategies for building a competitive proposal.
