Lights at Lafarge
Tech2Step invites you to a special networking walk at Lafarge Lake, where conversation, connection, and community meet under the glow of Coquitlam’s iconic winter lights.
Produced by the City of Coquitlam, Lights at Lafarge is Metro Vancouver’s largest free outdoor winter display, illuminating a 1.6-kilometre pathway with dazzling installations and reimagined scenes that turn the lake into a living storybook.
This walk is designed for women and newcomers in tech who want to build meaningful relationships in a setting that feels a little magical. Think of it as networking without the awkward small talk, because somehow bravery comes easier when the trees are shimmering and the air feels electric.
We’ll stroll, reflect, swap stories about careers and life in Canada, and remind ourselves that even in the dark season there are spaces where we can see one another clearly.
